Welcome to Idalou |
If you are new to our district or community, we want to welcome you. You have chosen a great place to live. We want to keep you informed about the happenings of Idalou ISD and community, so make sure you are plugged into each of these components to ensure you get the best information possible.
Our school website has ways for parents to keep up to date with their child's activities and announcements. Sign up for the District E-Note to receive weekly updates of upcoming events. You can also email your child's teacher if you have any concerns about their progress or any other issues.
Idalou ISD is on Facebook and we share "breaking news," share photos, and lots of good information often. www.facebook.com/idalouisd. Other Facebook pages of the district are Idalou HS, Principal Damron Idalou MS, Idalou Wildcat Band, and Idalou Athletic Booster Club.
Idalou ISD is also on Twitter and we share lots of sports scores, and weather related announcements here as well. www.twitter.com/idalouisd
Parent Portal is available through our school website for a parent to monitor their child's grades and attendance. If you do not have a Parent Portal account set up, check with the secretary of your child's campus to gain a Parent Portal access code that will help you get started.
Update your Contact Information: There is a form page in the Parent section that will send to us to update your contact information such as a new phone number, address, or email address. This is important as we use these tools to communicate with you. Our automated call system also uses these phone numbers to contact you in case of emergency, bad weather, or other reminders of upcoming school closings or holidays.
MySchoolBucks is also available through our website to add money to your child's lunch account. This link is in the Parent section of our school website and you will need to set up your account. If you do not know your child's ID number, there is a contact link for us to send that to you via email.
Subscribe to our school calendar and see the school events on your phone or tablet. Go to the parent section of our school website for more information.
